Step 1: Download Windows Media Encoder (DOWNLOAD HERE)
Step 2: Plug in Surge Protector
Step 3: Plug in Computer
Step 4: Plug in External Hard Drive (Note: this step is not required, but it will save space on your computer’s hard drive)
Step 5: Plug in JK Audio Box (You can Purchase one HERE)
Step 6: Plug in Headphones
Step 7: Plug in Audio Jack from Audio Box to the Output Port on the Computer
Step 8: Plug in the Other Audio Jack from the Audio Box to the Input Port on the Computer
Step 9: Open Media Encoder and click on “Broadcast Live Event”
Step 10: Enter Server Information and Publishing Point (Note: If you Do Not Know this Information, Contact Your Server Administrator or Your Internet Provider)
Step 11: Choose “Push to a Server” (This Will Allow Others to Hear Your Broadcast and Not Just You)
Step 12: Check Off Both 135 and 70 kbps (Internet Connection Speed)
Step 13: Create a New Folder to Save Your Broadcast
Step 14: Review All Information Before Broadcasting
Step 15: Click “Start Encoding Now”
Step 16: Broadcast Your Event!
